This is my web log, or "blog" as it is often called.
Pick A Side, Tormentor Or Not
Which side are you on?
We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Sometimes we must interfere. When human lives are endangered, when human dignity is in jeopardy, national borders and sensitivities become irrelevant. Wherever men or women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must, at that moment, become the center of the universe.

More Fun with Sandvox
I have now upgraded to Sandvox 2.5.2. It works well but the help is broken at the moment (in this version under Lion 10.7.3). Help is still available online through their website… but I hope they fix it soon. They are pretty good about releasing new versions with bug fixes and new features.

New Web Host
In the last few days I moved my (this) site from Apple's Mobile-Me hosting to A2Hosting.com. It was pretty simple to configure Sandvox to publish to the new account. A2Hosting provides cpanel, ssh, ftp, and webmail access to your account. …

Power Outage
8:29 PM -
Well, shortly after I got home tonight all my power dropped. Duke Energy estimates my power will be restored by 10:30PM tonight. I hope their estimate is accurate. It's getting pretty warm here in my house and it is boring... no lights, no Internet. …
Sandvox
This is my third post. I actually bought Sandvox so I can publish more than 5 pages now. It is interesting how I first heard of Karelia software just a few days ago, unrelated to Sandvox. I was reading a MacWorld article…
Second Post
This is my second post. I'm just learning how to use Sandvox (see my First Post). Right now I'm also reconsidering using iWeb. I may give it another try and strip out all the pictures. I just want something simple to use... iWeb is simple to use. …
First Post
This is my first blog post using Sandvox. I have no idea what I should write about; I don't feel like I have a whole lot to say.
When I first put this site up I used Apple's iWeb to create the HTML. iWeb did a nice job of creating slick looking pages... but the files took up a lot space and took a while to display/load over a typical home Internet connection. …
